Everyone at Solidor is fully refreshed after the Christmas break and extremely excited about what lies ahead for the team over the coming 12 months.
To kick the year off, we have caught up with another member of the team for our monthly ‘Meet The Team’ feature and this time it’s the turn of our Accounts Department Manager, Sandra Hennessy, one of our longest serving members of staff.

How many years have you worked at Solidor?
It’s now getting on for fourteen years I have been here (although it does not feel that long!).
Which is your favourite Solidor range, and why?
I quite like the Italia range – Genoa in light oak being my favourite. I already have a Solidor / Flint door on my house and had this fitted before the Italia range came out. But if I could choose again it would be a Genoa.
Proudest moment/ achievement at Solidor?
Getting my sums right lol, on a more serious note – being here as long as I have and watching the company grow to where it is today.
What does an average day for you consist of at Solidor HQ?
Liaising with customers and suppliers, getting money in, and paying it out too.
Hobbies and Interests:
I did try to learn to ride a motorbike but gave it up as I fell off more times than I care to remember, so walking my old dog seems a better/safer pastime now.
Which football (or other sports) team do you support?
I don’t like football much, British superbike racing I love watching.
What would be your dream car?
An Audi R8 most definitely for me.
If you could have any celebrity or public figure purchase a Solidor composite door for their home, who would it be? And why?
Simon Cowell – I bet he has more homes than the Queen, if we could supply to each one that would be great.
