The Edinburgh door is characterised by its two elongated units

The Edinburgh is a wonderful alternative to the classic Victorian four panel door style, thanks to its two elongated glazed units. The decorative and delicate glass panels will entice the light of the sun indoors and give you a door that becomes the talk of the neighbourhood. It can also be adapted into a fully solid door if privacy is your main concern.

BEAUTIFUL FRAME OPTIONS

Our composite doors only look so good because they contain a stylish door frame and we provide customers with two door frame options; a sculptured door frame and contemporary chamfered door frame. They are both compatible with our 18 different colour combinations and are manufactured from lead-free materials, provided by PVCu extruders Kömmerling. We also have a number of mobility friendly low thresholds from Stormguard.

BEAUTIFUL COLOURS

Prepare to be overwhelmed with options when trying to settle on the right finish for your Solidor. We now have 20 different colours available, ranging from contemporary finishes like Chartwell Green and Duck Egg Blue, to traditional favourites such as cream and black. You’ll be pleased to know that you can have your design finished inside and out, so feel free to choose contrasting colours for both sides of the frame.

SAFE AND SECURE

For a secure home you need a secure door and they don’t come any more secure than a Solidor. Not only does it consist of a 48mm thick solid timber core, but it also comes ready fitted with the Ultion lock cylinder as standard.

ULTION AS STANDARD

It seems only fitting that the UK’s most secure composite door now features the country’s most secure locking system; the Ultion.

It’s called the ‘Ultion’ because it offers the ultimate in locking protection, capable of sensing an attack and subsequently engaging via a hidden lock to prevent intruders gaining entry, even when snapped twice.

Analysis has shown that the Ultion easily outperforms the very best 3 star locks in a variety of different tests and when locked, stays locked.

No key, no chance of burglary; the Ultion really is that good.

TAKE THE KNOCK TEST!

You don’t call your company Solidor unless you can prove that your composite doors are the most solid composite doors on the market. We’re pleased to say that they are! We use a 48mm solid timber core in each design, as opposed to a foam filling, which makes our doors at least 10% thicker than any other composite door. Knocking on a Solidor will demonstrate how solid they are.
