My apprenticeship with Solidor has been an introduction into the working environment. I have been welcomed into a positive and knowledgeable team which has given me the opportunity to develop my profile both individually and as a team member.
I come to work and learn something new every day. During my time at Solidor I have gained a number of skills, product knowledge and various working techniques which have given me confidence in carrying out my day to day duties. The skills I have developed include: Good communication skills between fellow employees and customers. Product knowledge which has given me the confidence to be able to speak to customers frequently and assist with any open issues. Receiving and processing customer orders. To work in a professional manner and to be an effective team member.
The team I work within has been a huge support. They have helped me along the way and have given me advice on how to deal with different circumstances that may arise throughout the working day.
They have also shared their knowledge with me which has helped in carrying out my day to day duties in meeting Customer needs.
I would definitely recommend an Apprenticeship at Solidor to School Leavers.

Since joining Solidor as an apprentice in early March I have definitely grown in confidence.
Working at Solidor has helped me to develop my time management and organisational skills.
I’ve always wanted to work in an office environment but I had never had the confidence to confront the telephones or to manage a lot of work at once. Solidor has helped me to develop these skills and my colleagues have really boosted my confidence. I love coming into work in the morning!
