Some of you will already be aware of our 'Installer of the Month' competition where for the last month we have been asking all Solidor installers to send us the pictures of our doors they install throughout the month. The response was brilliant as we received an increased amount of pictures from a lot of our valued installers and we love to see the end product of our doors!
Well, the inaugural month is over and the entries were all in and the winners were West Yorkshire based Premium Solidor installers Aire Valley Glass. We contacted the company to ask them a few questions and here is the response:
1) Tell us a little bit about the history of Aire Valley Glass…
We are a family owned and run company based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, serving Craven, Yorkshire and Lancashire. We manufacture and install windows, doors, conservatories, roofline and composite doors in PVC and finished timber. We have been established over 30 years.
2) Where are you based?
We have our main factory and showroom near Keighley, West Yorkshire, and an additional showroom in the Yorkshire Dales – at Clapham, North Yorkshire
3) How long have you been installing Solidor composite doors for?
Since 2012
4) Which is your favourite Solidor range to install? and why?
We like anything unusual! Obviously it’s impossible to choose a door as a favourite because it very much depends on where the property is located and what type of property the door will be fit into. The Ludlow is the most popular design for us but we like a lot of the more modern designs such as the Milano, and we have an Aubergine door in our showroom that always attracts attention!
5) How do you feel about being named the first Solidor ‘Installer of the Month’?
We always encourage our installation teams to take photos of our work to showcase our high standards, and to be recognised as Installer of the Month is a brilliant achievement. We hope to carry on with many more in the future.
