Since the recent launch of the antique ironmongery from sister company DorPro, Solidor have experienced an impressive increase in demand for their solid-core composite doors, with this traditional, handmade hardware option.
With homeowners every more style conscious, this new range of exclusive hardware to Solidor is yet another reason why the company has become the fastest growing business in the sector. Over ten finished doors a day are now been produced with this new antique hardware range, often in foiled finishes such as Irish Oak and Chartwell Green.
The antique hardware range includes a range of traditional knockers, handles and letterplates in both pewter and black. The new 5” ring door knocker has already proved popular with the Solidor door, yet due to its weight is not recommended for lightweight GRP doors. There’s also a range of five handles to choose from within the new range.
A number of leading window fabricators are now offering monkey tail handles and so the options from Solidor will allow installers to offer a complete solution from front door to replacement windows and on to a stable door for example. The company is also promising further new products at next years FIT Show including a 15th colour!
