Prior to its hosting, the Fabricator Installer Trade (FIT) Show was massively supported by the industry with more than 170 companies committing to exhibition space, including Solidor, specialist manufacturers of composite front doors, who gave their backing more than most.Such was Solidor’s confidence in the project that they were the very first company to sign up for the event and their judgement proved spot on as close to 6,000 visitors travelled to the exhibition over three days, many of which took interest in Solidor’s extensive product portfolio.Solidor were lucky enough to have their exhibition stand situated at the entrance into Hall 1 of the International Centre, Telford, so were perfectly placed to showcase their superb collection ofcomposite doors right in front of visitor’s noses.Managing Director, Gareth Mobley, couldn’t have been happier with how things went:“The FIT Show was epic for us, it surpassed our expectations and we got 350 solid leads. We had much more traffic on the stand, existing customers etc. but hundreds of businesses that want to start dealing with us.“The new products went down really well. We showcased the Solidor 88, the Solidor R9 and lots of other new things like our new colour ‘Rich Aubergine’.
“We were front of house and so put a lot of effort into the stand. We think the stand looked impressive and it went down really well.
“We also supported the show with significant sponsorship for the Master Fitter Challenge competition, the lanyards and the charity casino. These all were well received too.
“We were first to sign up for The FIT Show 2014 and we are looking forward to further success there.”
The Stoke-on-Trent firm also received significant interest in their ever expanding Recommended Installer Network from home improvement companies’ eager to form business links with Solidor.
