Our 'Stick With Solidor' competition has reached its climax and we can officially announce that McDermott Windows of Blackburn are the winners of the much coveted iPad Mini.
We asked our vast installer network to take a snap of one of our “Recommended Installer” stickers in the weirdest and wonderful places imaginable and they didn’t let us down.
The team at McDermott Windows triumphed after taking their sticker away with them to Spain and planting it in the glorious sandy beach at Torremolinos, in a picture we christened ‘A Solidor Abroad’.
It was an image adjudged to be the favourite entry of those on twitter, attracting an impressive 73 retweets, helping them narrowly edge out the inventive efforts of Aire Valley Glass and Nigel Grant UPVC.
Stephen McDermott, Managing Director of McDermott Windows was left delighted at the result:
“The 24 hour build up to the competition closing was a tense and yet exciting 24 hours. We kept a very close eye on the number of retweets leading up to the closing of the competition. The deadline came at 12 o’clock and we waited anxiously for Solidor to announce the winner.
“When the tweet finally came confirming we had won the competition, we were ecstatic! Taking our “Stick with Solidor” sticker on a plane to Torremolinos and on to the beach, had just won us a mini iPad that we can use in our new showroom.
“The mini iPad will be at hand for our customers to design their dream Solidor. It’s great to be part of the Solidor team!”
