3) Which is your favourite Solidor range, and why?
For me I would have to say the Italia Range in particular the Milano, I love the modern contemporary design. Having a keen interest in interior design, a black finish Milano with the ES3 1800 handle, this would be the perfect complement to the Tudor finish on the front of my house.
4) Proudest moment/ achievement at Solidor?
My proudest achievement is the promotion from Customer Service Manager to Office Manager. Having previously spent 14 years working for a global organisation, I was able to bring in my knowledge and experience to the department, looking at the workflow, changing current processes and introducing KPIs. My proudest moment was the recognition from the team on the difference I had made within the workplace.
5) What does an average day for you consist of at Solidor HQ?
My average day consists of managing the workload within the department, assisting the Customer Service team in order to deliver the best possible service. I also manage any day to day HR Issues within the organisation.
6) Hobbies and Interests:
I have a keen interest in interior design and regularly attend the gym. I also enjoy the outdoors, horse riding in the Lakes and Cumbria. Retail therapy is a must, a woman can never have too many handbags and shoes.
7) Which football (or other sports) team do you support?
I’m not a massive fan of football and have only recently been to two football matches to watch Stoke play and on both occasions they have won, so I would have to say I support the local team!
8) What would be your dream car?
I’m a fan of four wheel drive vehicles, it’s a necessity in winter when living at the top of a hill. My dream car would be a Range Rover Sport.
9) If you could have any celebrity or public figure purchase a Solidor composite door for their home, who would it be? And why?
Keith Lemon – it would be our turn to see behind his “Key Hole”.
10) Anything you would like to add:
During my time at Solidor, I have met and worked with some fantastic people who I have enjoyed working alongside. The team here are very dedicated and passionate about the work that they do.
