As the new initiative moved into its second month we noted an increased amount of our valued installers sending us images, many of which were vying to win the second 'Installer of the Month' title.
The race to send in the most photo’s was an exciting one, but in the end it was Kent based installers PJ Plastics who had the most images on the final day (an impressive 16 to be exact!). We got in touch with the guys over at PJ Plastics to ask them a few questions, here’s what they had to say:
1) Tell us a little bit about the history of PJ Plastics…
PJ Plastics have been trading for almost 20 years supplying and installing replacement windows and doors mainly to the retail customer. We are a small family run established business with well trained and committed staff, the majority having been with us for over 10 years. We recently won the prestigious G13 Installer of the Year Award which was a very proud moment for us all.
2) Where are you based?
We are based in Erith, Kent and have a showroom in Bexley Village which opened in January this year.
3) How long have you been installing Solidor composite doors for?
We have been installing Solidor composite doors for around a year now. We have a large and varied display in our Bexley showroom along with our other high end products.
4) Which is your favourite Solidor range to install? and why?
We install a variety of doors but the Ludlow is a definite favourite with our customers as is the more traditional styles like the Flint 1. We do like it though when a customer is more adventurous, not just with the style of Solidor they choose but the colour and furniture! We use Door Designer on a large screen in our showroom which helps customers visualise their new door adapting it to suit their choices. It makes them feel that their door is individual and not just picked out of a brochure!
5) How do you feel about being named April’s Solidor ‘Installer of the Month’?
We were very pleased to win April’s Installer of the month as we knew we were up against strong competition but we also knew that we stood a chance as we had sold so many over the last couple of months. By winning this title we think that it will give customers even more confidence in us when it comes to choosing who they want to fit their new Solidor.
