Solidor Group is currently engaged in an investment programme that has seen the Staffordshire-based, composite door manufacturer bring in a number of key, strategic new management appointments.
The composite door innovator has experienced unprecedented growth over the last few years and yet there’s an overwhelming desire to kick-on and make the business truly world class. In order to achieve that goal, Solidor are recruiting the very best people in key positions, whilst developing and nurturing the existing team to meet the new challenge.
Clearly in any manufacturing business, production excellence is a critical success factor and now working under Mike Price, group operations director, are Neil Bancroft, operations manager, Peter Skinner, in the new position of quality, health, safety and environment manager and Phil Taylor, procurement manager. While Matt Grooms has joined as site manager for the new 18,000ft2 Grove Road manufacturing site.
Reporting to Solidor Group finance director, Carlton Hopley, is James Walker who takes up the role of financial controller. Peter Mulligan joins the sales function as area sales manager, having previously worked alongside Joe Martoccia at Ultraframe Limited. Designed to help support the Solidor network, Paul Ogden takes up the newly formed position of technical manager, reporting to technical director, Pierre Mifsud and his key focus will be to help build technical capabilities among Solidor installers and ensure all Solidor products are installed correctly.
