Solidor is proud and excited to announce that we will be sponsoring a brand new elite bike team, BH-Solidor-WAM, set up by Wayne Coombs and Iain McInnes, Wayne is a former Great Britain junior and is also currently one of the top over 40’s in the UK. Iain also comes from a biking background and is a former elite mountain biker.
It’s no secret that we’re passionate about biking here at Solidor to those who know us, Solidor MD Gareth Mobley recently undertook the massive task of cycling across America with a number of other riders and businesses in aid of the Hope 66 charity. It’s a project that is really exciting for all at Solidor.
The team has already secured a number of external sponsors besides Solidor’s strong financial commitment to the team. 13 riders who have 66 wins and 3 national champions between them in 2013 alone have already been confirmed as well as a rider from the Commonwealth Games Welsh development squad. BH-Solidor_WAM also have the experience of a proven team manager, mechanic and masseur.
The BH-Solidor-WAM team will be looking to compete at a mixture of Premier Calendar events, regional races, National Championships and also a guest spot for a televised Tour Series! BH are believed to be the perfect sponsor for the team and have offered both G6 and Ultralight bikes for the teams use.
