Alison comments – The entrance to my home features a keyhole arch so my requirements were quite specific. After researching composite doors online I soon realised that not all manufacturers could create a bespoke arched door for me. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find a company to help me until I came across local window and door specialists Pro-fit Northern.
Pro-Fit Northern who are part of the Solidor national installer network, informed Alison that Solidor offer a variety of traditional and contemporary door styles which can be integrated into both arched and gothic heads. Alison was also pleased to hear that every arched door and frame is individually manufactured with a 48mm solid timber core and is cut to a bespoke size, meaning that her door would be completely unique.
Alison continues – I was pleased to hear that Solidor offer a range of contemporary door styles and was immediately drawn towards the Genoa door style. My house is built from Yorkstone so I wanted a colour that would complement the sandy tones. Golden Oak was perfect.
I love my new Solidor, it’s exactly what I wanted. Pro-fit Northern have been excellent from start to finish. I would happily recommend both companies to anyone looking for a new front door.
