A Closer Look at the Tenby Range

January 30th 2014

Here at Solidor we have a wide range of different front doors for you to choose from and every now and then, we like to go into a little more detail about one of the ranges that we supply to give you guys, our customers a bit more of an insight into some of our top doors.

Well, this week we’re going to have a closer look at the Tenby Range that we supply.

Features

The design of the Tenby is a timeless classic, the kind of door that never looks out of place on any home. If you opt for a Tenby door then you can have it as a totally solid door and there’s also a glazed option too. If you liked, you could even just have the top lights glazed for a bit of added light with the rest of the door remaining solid to maximise privacy.

As well as being able to offer our customers the widest range of composite doors, we can also offer them the option of a modern traditional or chamfered door frame in one of nine different colours.

These are manufactured from lead-free materials by Kömmerling who are one of Europe’s leading PVCu extruders. Here at Solidor, we pride ourselves on the fact that all of our doors are 100% solid and the Tenby range is no different. All of our doors are manufactured using a solid timber core which is obtained from fully sustainable sources and it’s also 10% thicker than the nearest alternative.

Accessories

Everyone loves to accessorise so why not accessorise your front door? You can enhance your Tenby door with one of a number of different accessories including new door handles and knockers or even a new letter plate.

All of the items we listed are available in a brushed steel, contemporary chrome, traditional gold new black chrome or black and white so, like our doors, you won’t be stuck for choice when it comes to colour.

Security

The fact that our doors are 48mm thick means that our doors can utilise the high security Avantis lock as a standard. This new locking mechanism has the market’s largest triangulated dead bolt which means that there’s greater compression on a closed door and also added security!

On top of this, our ProSecure door handle features security protection which burglars can see and also patented reinforcement technology that they can’t see. This handle has a variety of different features to provide enhanced security and visible protection and it is also manufactured from a strong zinc alloy.

So, if the Tenby is a door that tickles your fancy, why not get in touch with us and we’ll see what we can sort out for you. Don’t forget, if you aren’t already, you can follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
