Sometimes it isn’t until a brand new Solidor has been fitted and you see the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs that you realise just how big of a difference it makes.
This recent installation by Homeseal Windows in Hull proves it.
The old wooden door that you see below had fallen into disrepair and once a timber door gets to this stage it is virtually impossible to get it back looking how it was. It also commonly allows excessive heat loss to occur and becomes less secure, leaving the home vulnerable to potential burglary attempts.
The entranceway has been transformed and brought back to life with the above Solidor Flint 4 in Chartwell Green and with Royale Glass.
As you’d expect the homeowners were delighted with the end result, particularly as it means no more tatty old front door and no more concerns about energy efficiency and security.
We anticipate that the new door will create quite a stir in the neighbourhood so Homeseal could well be in high demand for further Solidor installations locally.
