Mr and Mrs Pipe live in a bungalow in Hethersett, Norfolk. They had a generic white UPVC door which they become bored of and so decided it was time for a change.
The UPVC door didn’t provide us with the level of security that we wanted nor did it look particularly attractive. We wanted something different that would elevate the overall appearance of our home.
The Pipes took to the internet to do some research and came across Solidor straight away.
“We liked to look of the Solidor as soon as we saw their website. There’s a huge variety of different door styles and colours to choose from. We also liked that there were additional features with the Solidor, and that it’s got a solid timber core. We knew instantly that by replacing our UPVC door with a Solidor we’d feel much more secure in our home.”
The Pipes used the “Find an installer” section of the Solidor website to find Norwich Windows and Conservatories, who have an excellent reputation in the local area.
“We really felt at ease with Norwich Windows and Conservatories. The team were on hand to assist us in our purchase and talked us through all of the security features and different locking mechanisms available.”
The Pipes used Solidors online door designer to help them decide on which door and colour to go for. After creating several different designs they came to the unanimous decision that they would be having the Harlech in anthracite grey.
“We had a lot of fun with the door designer. It allowed us to swap colours, door styles, glass designs and door furniture until we found the door that we thought would be best suited to our home.
Now the door has been installed we’re so pleased that we went for a Solidor. The front of our home looks so different, it’s like walking into a new house every time we come home.
The door feels really sturdy and as winter is just around the corner we know that there aren’t going to be any drafts coming in. It’s just so solid! I wish we’d made the decision to change our front door sooner.”
