Paul Taylor tells us why he chose Solidor

Paul Taylor lives in a Three Bedroom Semi-detached house in Syston, Leicestershire

Earlier this year Paul began to modernise his home with new windows, a new conservatory and finally a new two new Solidors.

I didn’t want to do a bit at a time so I decided to get the all of the work done in one go so that family life wasn’t disrupted too much.

Paul contacted Clear Choice Home Improvements to help him with the renovation work.  They’re a local firm and came very highly recommended.  Paul did a lot of online research into different composite doors but found that Solidor with its timber core was by far the best option for him and his home.

I’d read very good reviews about Solidor and how secure they were, plus the range was huge so there was plenty to choose from.

Solidor offer the largest range of colours available.  You’re even able to pick a different colour both inside and out!

It took a long time to decide which colour we wanted.  We were so close to choosing Chartwell green but then my partner Rebecca got her way and we went with Painswick. She definitely got it right.

Both of our old doors were very old and insecure, neither of them sealed very well.  Our new Solidors click shut nicely and the handles we chose are brilliant.

The windows, conservatory and Solidors have really given our home a facelift. All our neighbours love the work that has been carried out and I’m not just saying this but they love the front door just like we do.
