The Solidor team descended upon Birmingham's NEC Arena last week to exhibit at Grand Designs Live. This was a first for the company in terms of exhibiting at consumer focussed shows and we are pleased to announce that it was a roaring success. Through the weekend the Solidor stand was constantly busy with people eager to take the knock test and find out why Solidor is ‘leading the way’ in the composite door market.
MD Gareth Mobley commented that “We were overwhelmed with interest for the product, there was nothing else like it at the show. The consumer reaction was positive and we had around 3,000 people pass through the stand. We answered hundreds of questions and gave out thousands of our Design a Door app leaflets encouraging people to visit our website or download the app”
Since exhibiting Solidor have seen a large spike in consumer traffic and downloads of our Design A Door App. The show attracted over 20,000 visitors on the Saturday alone and was fantastic exposure for the Solidor brand. The aim of the show was to accelerate lead generation for the ever expanding Solidor installer network.
The debut show was such a success that Solidor have already booked to exhibit again next year, this time it will be a 4 day event and Solidor are excited to return to the show with “a different twist”.
