Solidor Sees Huge Growth

Here at Solidor have recently turned our attentions to helping customers to generate sales and this comes after we embarked on a marketing campaign to help us grow and secure our customer base.

Our managing director, Gareth Mobley was the man behind this initiative and it has been that successful we have taken on a new retail campaign manager, Steven Smith to help deal with inquiries.

Our annual turnover for this year is expected to reach at least £13.5 million and sales for April of this year were up a staggering 92% compared to the same time last year. There have also been regular increases month after month since then.

When a company is primarily set up to deal with the trade, retail campaigns are known to be difficult to start up. However, thanks to Solidor’s launch of the recommended installer scheme on our website, a new app and an appearance at the Grand Designs Live show, here at Solidor we’ve been able to generate substantial new sales leads.

The success of this campaign has already been honoured and recognised at the G13 awards where Solidor won the promotional campaign of the year – retail.

Speaking about the win at the G13 awards, Gareth Mobley said: “I can’t tell you how thrilled we all were to win the G13 award, as a number of members of staff were on the table and it was important to share this with them.

The award shows just how much we are growing as a brand not just in the trade, but in the eyes of the consumer.”

At the Grand Designs Live show which was held at the NEC, Solidor gave out more than 4,500 iPhone leaflets which were replicating the front of an iPhone to encourage homeowners to download their latest door app for the iPhone and iPad.

The app allows users to take a picture of the front, or the back of their home and add a number of different door designs and different glass options as well as a choice of 17 different colours and woodgrains both inside and out.

Talking about the stand at the Grand Designs Live show, Gareth said: “The stand was absolutely packed with visitors eager to look at our pioneering composite doors and the vast array of design options.

“This will generate further sales leads for us that we can pass back through our recommended installer network.”
