The New Pastel Range from Solidor

August 20th 2018

You’ll recall that earlier in the year we asked for your help in deciding what our next door colour should be.  We’ve been overwhelmed by how many suggestions we’re made, from the bright and bold to the sleek and subtle you really came up with some exciting options that we’d never considered before.

Originally we we’re only going to launch a single new colour this summer but you made it so difficult that we just colour limit it to one.

So, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve launched 3 beautiful hues which takes our industry leading range of colours to 23.

These exquisite new colours are part of a new range that we’ve aptly named The Pastel Range.

Let’s take a closer look….

Lavender –

Pantones colour of the year was named Ultra Violet and can currently be found gracing the interiors of many a style conscious homeowner.  So those you who chose Lavender we’re bang in the money.

Lavender like its namesake is fresh and it’s floral, and will look great on both traditional and contemporary door styles. Make a feature out of your entrance by adding planters and hanging baskets to frame your door with contrasting colours green, orange and deep purple for maximum impact.

Cobalt Blue

Deeper than sky blue but lighter than navy, Cobalt blue is a colour that shouts prominence and pride. The boldest hue within this new range is also said to inspire a sense of safety and serenity, making it the perfect option for a new front door.

Teamed with a crisp white frame and chrome fittings you’ll definitely turn heads with Cobalt Blue.

Twilight Grey

Twilight Grey has subtle undertones of pale green and blue (depending on the light), giving it a fresh and contemporary feel all year round.

Sitting in between dark Anthracite Grey and lighter French Grey, Twilight Grey is another of this year’s top colour trends with experts suggesting that this hue will evoke a feeling of tranquillity and stability.

It’s another colour that works well as a combination so try adding a different colour frame like Anthracite Grey for a truly modern finish.

So there you have it, the new Pastel Range, chosen by you.  It’s available now so contact your local Solidor installer to see a sample and be one of the first homeowners in the country with a brand new Pastel Solidor.
