A Soli-dor deal at Fensterbau

December 18th 2012

Solidor, arguably the UK's fastest growing composite door manufacturer, has further enhanced their credentials with the signing of an exclusive distribution deal with Rodenberg Türsysteme AG, Europe’s Number 1 in entrance doors.

Rodenberg products are synonymous with outstanding quality and durability, thanks to their 28 years experience and commitment to product research, development and design. The company has sold over 1.75 million luxury door sets throughout Europe and in other key geographical markets including Australia, with each one individually manufactured using state-of-the-art precision machinery.

The PVC doors from Rodenberg will be sold with a lead-free KBE System 88 outer frame, resulting in U-values of 0.7 W/(m²K), with triple glazing options and a range of exclusive German hardware. Solidor believe that this door specification is in stark contrast to some of the cheap, generic, first generation composite doors and is aimed at the more discerning consumer.

There will be over 100 designs of door from the Rodenberg range available to order through their Modern and Exclusive product ranges. Work is already being undertaken to produce UK specific marketing materials and there’s already a successful iPad application, albeit in German at the moment.

Garth Mobley, managing director of the Solidor Group comments: “This is an important deal for both companies and we share many similar philosophies in terms of product innovation and customer support. We’ve developed our Solidor range based on customer choice, quality and innovation and the Rodenberg products will add a premium option for our customers who are looking to offer a luxury up-market product.”
