Friday Feature Is Going Down Famously!

July 25th 2013

At Solidor we look for new ways to engage our customers, interested consumers and anyone in between. This is especially important when it comes to our Social Media with us boasting a very good following on our Twitter and Facebook.

A few weeks ago we launched a new fun feature each Friday. The feature simply displayed a famous door that will have been seen across the world, on TV, in films, or in the news. We have had a great response with many people getting the answers correct and proving their credentials as door fanatics!

We have used images of the door from Notting Hill, made famous in the 1990’s by Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant with a highly recognisable blue door in the streets of London.

Big films such as the Hobbit and Monsters Inc. also have highly recognisable doors that a lot of our followers commented on when we used them as part of our Friday Feature.

The door used in long running sitcom series ‘Friends’ was quickly recognised due to the distinctive photo frame on the back of a purple door. Shakespeare’s birth place was also picked up by a few people as they were quick to pick up on the little clue left to the side of the door with miniscule writing explaining the door’s significance as a tourist attraction.

We will be keeping this popular feature going and if you have any ideas of your own feel free to let us know through our Facebook at www.facebook.com/solidorcompositedoors or on Twitter at @solidorltd.
