Improve Your Home With A Solidor Composite Door

April 18th 2013

Choosing the entrance way to your home is a very important task for many reasons because of the role that front doors play. They are responsible for the security of the home, they must be energy efficient and above all, they must look incredible as they are often the first things people will notice about your property. The main issue with your choice in door will be the price as this will often be the main consideration in dictating just how secure, stylish and efficient a door you can install in your home.

Many of the cheapest doors on the market are UPVC panel doors which make them very popular choices amongst homeowners who often install them at the same time as they fit replacement windows. While they are incredibly affordable choices, they are not the thickest of doors and nor are they particularly energy efficient, in general they are the lowest overall quality of door to choose for your home. On the opposite end of the scale, there is the hardwood door which can add a great deal of sophistication and security to your home. Often the downside with these doors is that they can be quite expensive to install and they can require a large amount of maintenance over their lifetime.

At Solidor we do not believe in having to make a compromise on choice so we manufacture a product that gives you the best of both worlds. Composite doors are made from multiple materials that ensure they are thick, secure and energy efficient while at the same time, only needing minimal maintenance. Our composite front doors are also incredibly stylish and affordable to ensure that every homeowner can install a Solidor in their home. Our superior range of colours, personalisation and design styles ensures that we have the best range of composite doors on the market.
