Hot on the heals of the successful launch of Duck Egg blue, innovative composite door manufacturer, Solidor, have introduced their 15th finish, the beautiful and luxurious Mocha woodgrain.
This new luxury woodgrain finish has already been installed on an impressive property in rural Yorkshire and was based on the Windsor design from the traditional Collection. The door also featured a handmade ring door knocker, handle and letterplate from Solidor’s traditional ironmongery range. The homeowner was thrilled with the result, a composite door that oozes quality and panache.
With the introduction of Mocha, Solidor can now boast a colour and woodgrain range that extends to 16, which is around twice that of their nearest competitor, amounting to 256 possible colour options. It’s the stunning finishes in Chartwell Green, Irish Oak, Chartwell Green and now Mocha that are really helping their customers to set themselves apart from the standard GRP offerings in the composite door marketplace.
All the finishes from Solidor are an exterior grade laminate/foil, the same long lasting ones that are used by the PVCu window and door systems companies, or completely through colour and are proven to be a better finish than a stained or gel coated finish. Solidor can also boast 2 outer frames, each in 9 different colours inside and out, so there’s always a door frame that’s finished in the same material. With 18 frame colour combinations and 256 door colour options, that’s an incredible 4,600 possible permutations!
Gareth Mobley, managing director of Solidor Group comments: ‘We’ve been first to market with a number of colours and Mocha is another example of our pioneering approach to the market. There are now some stunning foils available on the market and we’ve got another new one ready for the FIT Show, but at the moment it’s a closely guarded secret!’
