A ‘design a door’ tool already exists on the main Solidor website and has proved extremely popular with those desktop users who aspire to produce their own Solidor design from scratch.
Keen to capitalise upon the growing mobile market and maintain their reputation as leaders in innovation, the app enables customers to craft their own personalised Solidor on the move with thousands of possible configurations, determining the measurements, colour, glazing, side panels, top boxes, handling, letterbox etc.
Users can then superimpose as many finished doors as they like onto their residence simply by taking a picture of their existing doorway via an iPhone or iPad and overlaying the newly designed Solidor over the top; a perfect opportunity to try before they buy.
Each door produced can then be saved in the local gallery of the relevant mobile device. Once a user has settled upon a design they like they can then email it directly to Solidor for a quick quote.
