There were wild celebrations in the capital for team Solidor on Friday night after the firm was christened ‘Fabricator of the Year’ at the glass and glazing industry’s premier awards event.
Hosted by comedian Milton Jones, the 2016 G Awards took place at The London Hilton on Park Lane, an awards ceremony we have a close affinity with as we have triumphed at them in the past, including last year when we won ‘Promotional Campaign of the Year – Retail’.
We were nominated for ‘Promotional Campaign of the Year – Retail’ again this year, and though we didn’t manage to repeat our success in this category, winning the title of ‘Fabricator of the Year’ more than made up for it.
To walk away with yet another prize in front of our peers and against such exceptionally strong competition is a huge achievement and something we’re extremely proud of. It is also a real testament to the outstanding efforts of our staff and the continued support shown by our customers and partner installers.
Our primary objective now is to not rest on our laurels and sustain the high standards that we have become renowned for to hopefully ensure that we receive further acknowledgement from the G Awards judging panel.
