Upgrading a tired UPVC Door

March 15th 2017

Mrs Fisher lives in a 4 bedroom detached house on the outskirts of Portsmouth where her old uPVC front door had become a very tired looking.

It felt flimsy, didn’t look very attractive and didn’t make me feel secure in my home”.

Traditional Style with a contemporary twist

Having researched doors online Mrs Fisher knew that she wanted to combine traditional style with the modern materials of a composite door.

“The strength of the timber core combined with the classy look of the heritage styles really appealed to me.  The Ludlow was exactly what I was looking for.

Mrs Fisher thought that she wanted a white door with a white frame but quickly changed her mind when she saw the colour variations available.

“I fixed my heart on the Rich Aubergine, its lovely jubbly”.

Style & Substance

Glasstec, a Premium Solidor installer, was recommended to Mrs Fisher by a family member and is really happy with the service that she received.

“They’ve been brilliant!  I can’t recommend them enough.  The fitter who came to install my new Solidor was great, very attentive, and he made no mess”.

Since the door has been fitted Mrs Fisher has noticed the many admiring glances from passers-by and is comforted in knowing that her new Solidor provides the additional security that she was looking for.

Completing the Look

“I love my new front door, it not only looks fab but  feels so much more sturdy.  I feel really safe and secure as soon as I turn the lock.  Solidor even gave me the RAL code for Rich Aubergine so that I could colour match my Garage Doors. Now that my new entrance is complete I am one happy customer!”
