Mr & Mrs Dee live in a Semi-detached house in Caerphilly, South Wales. The couple had put up with the white uPVC door for as long as they could before finally agreeing to upgrade.

The Dee’s did a lot of online research into front doors and came across the Solidor range.
Increasing the level of security was a high priority for us, but we also wanted to add a sense of style to the front of our house. We knew that we didn’t want to buy another uPVC door. When we researched composite doors online, we came across Solidor pretty much straight away. The fact that they have a Solid Timber Core and a robust thermo plastic skin appealed to us and we really liked the vast range of door styles and colours available as well.
A door style to suite every home
The Dee’s wanted a Solidor with little glazing so the Tenby door style was perfect for them.
We didn’t really want to have any glass in the door but then we saw the Tenby 2 and thought it would let in just the right amount of light. We loved the range of colours that Solidor offer. It’s great that there are so many to choose from. Eventually we decided on Schwarzbraun and as we thought that it would complement the dark surround creating an Art Deco appearance to the front of our home.

The Dees contacted local firm BWM Ltd to supply and install the new Solidor and couldn’t be happier with the service that they received.

Feeling Reassured
Not only have the Dee’s noticed that their home feels much warmer and quieter since the door has been fitted, they’ve also noticed the how secure it makes them feel.
Because of the high security features that come with a Solidor we’ve got the peace of mind now that we are really secure in our home, the old uPVC door didn’t give us that feeling at all. We’re so happy that we made the decision to upgrade our door, it has massively improved the front of our home. We’d definitely recommend Solidor to anyone.
